Regional HR Project Manager (m/w/n), Country HR Services North & East Europe

Reporting directly to the regional Country HR Director, this role will be primarily responsible for driving and developing regional HR initiatives throughout North & East Europe; which comprises of more than 20 countries supporting over 4100 employees.  

  •  In this role, you will partner with the Country HR Director to engage with key business leaders in special projects aimed at driving organizational effectiveness, change management, talent development and attraction and employee engagement
  • You own the regional HR Project plan and through excellent project management skills you ensure key milestones are identified, project plans developed and achieved. You will lead these specific projects and workstreams within the region yourself being supported by members of the regional HR teams (like the global intranet project or the LER workstream)
  • You organise the monthly Management Operating Review meeting and make sure that all actions and decisions are implemented in time and in budget. You devise and manage by this the regular reporting mechanism for the Country HR Director. You are tracking and monitoring progress and escalating business risks where appropriate
  • A special focus of the role is the coordination of Reward topics across all countries within the region and to represent the regional HR team in global Reward workstreams. This includes being a regional Reward champion, STIP champion, active member of the Recognition Group or Reward communication
  • Engage deeply with the Country HR Services teams in the region to ensure consistent deployment of initiatives, global processes and policies.
  • Furthermore you support CHRS Directors, HR Business Partners and Regional Teams in projects relating to talent attraction, development, retention and talent engagement, among other tasks
  • Through the ability to influence and challenge as appropriate, the role entails identifying areas of improvement in existing policies or practices and look for new solutions
  • Collaboratively work with other parts of the HR function and the business

  • Excellent project management skills and a track record of success in project management within a large matrix environment
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business / Human Resource Management
  • A track record of success in a human resources career with 5 to 8 years’ progressive, regional HR experience
  • Experience in centre of expertise within HR, ideally Reward, would be ideal in addition to HR BP / generalist experience
  • Client-focused and solution-oriented, you have a demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner effectively with the business and the HR organization
  • Possess excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and spoken
  • Responsive, accountable and having a resilient nature
  • You are willing to take on a hands-on approach in managing your responsibilities and can work independently, supporting stakeholders remotely from Munich
  • Ability to deal with a wide variety of stakeholders including senior leaders
  • Fluent in English, German would be beneficial
