As a Director Data Management, you will ensure efficient processes, manage and supervise personnel and oversee data management operations to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
 
Our Health Division is a leading global healthcare consulting company and trusted advisor to many of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device and diagnostic companies. It combines evidence-based research capabilities with deep scientific, therapeutic and clinical knowledge, commercial development know-how, and brand and marketing expertise to help clients evaluate opportunities, launch products and maintain brand and market leadership. Our Health division has about 40 years of experience in the field of Clinical Trials, Late Phase Studies, Non-Interventional Studies and epidemiological research.
 
We deliver over 40 years of CRO experience, qualified expertise in clinical and non-interventional studies, global access to proprietary physician panels,  innovative data collection services to the medical and healthcare research business worldwide, on the ground clinical services support in 80+ countries worldwide. We cover major markets including the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. Our European clinical team coordinates this network and manages globally all activities related to  , site selection, training, regulatory and legal affairs, quality management, data management, pharmacovigilance, statistics and medical writing services.

KEY OUTCOMES
 
Data Management Project Leadership (70%)
  • Being part of the Leadership Team, you will closely partner with other Directors and the Managing Director of Clinical & Real World Research
  • Responsible for driving growth in accordance to the global strategy together with the Leadership Team, translating strategy into action for the data management team
  • Provide data management support on non-interventional studies and clinical trials and ensuring that tasks are conducted in accordance with regulatory and company standards
  • Responsible for assuring that clinical databases are set up, validated and maintained in accordance with existing standards
  • Ensure effective and trustful communication with clients
  • Collaborate in the creation of SOPs and Working Instructions related to data management 

Team Management (30 %)
  • Responsible for leading and managing a large team of data managers, supported by a group of team leaders
  • Provide guidance to the team with regard to both personal development as well as day-to-day data management tasks
  • Responsible for performance evaluation and career development planning for team members
  • Hiring, training, and mentoring data managers in collaboration with the leadership team  

 
CAPABILITIES
 
Experience
  • University degree in Medical Documentation or Life Sciences or equivalent experience in the Clinical Research field
  • 10+ years of experience in data management of non-interventional studies and/or clinical trials ideally in a CRO
  • Several years of experience in leading a team incl. developing and energizing the team members
  • Experience with EDC systems and good knowledge of SQL
  • Excellent working knowledge of ICH, FDA and GCP regulations and guidelines
